MyResource Co., Ltd. (“the Company”) hereby establishes this Privacy Policy (“the Policy”) regarding the handling of personal information and other information provided by customers in connection with requests for materials and related inquiries concerning the services offered on “My Resource” and “My University” (collectively, “the Services”), the systems operated by the Company.


Unless otherwise specified, the terms used in this Policy shall be interpreted in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan (the “APPI”).


1. Information We Collect

The Company collects the following information (“Personal Information, etc.”) in connection with requests for materials related to the Services or inquiries regarding such requests.

1) Information directly provided by the customer

  • Name, email address, phone number, company name or school name, and any other information submitted through the form related to material requests or inquiries.

2) Information automatically collected through the Service website

  • Information automatically collected when customers use the website of the Services.

2. Purposes of Use of Personal Information, etc.

The Company uses the collected Personal Information, etc. only within the scope of the following purposes:

  • To provide the requested materials
  • To manage information of companies or universities interested in using the Services
  • To send various notices and announcements from the Company
  • To respond to customer inquiries
  • To request responses to surveys for service improvement and enhancement
  • To prevent and respond to fraudulent or improper activities

3. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

Except where the customer has given prior consent or where permitted under the APPI or other applicable laws and regulations, the Company does not disclose Personal Information, etc. to any third party.


4. Use of Cookies

The Service website uses cookies to ensure proper operation of the form used for requesting materials or making inquiries.

The stored information does not contain personal information and cannot identify individual users.

Customers may refuse the use of cookies or delete stored cookies through their browser settings.

Please note that refusing or deleting cookies may affect the functionality of the form.


5. Requests for Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use, etc.

Upon receiving a request from the customer for disclosure, etc. of their Personal Information (notification of purpose of use, disclosure, correction/addition/deletion, suspension of use or deletion, and suspension of third-party provision), the Company will verify the identity of the requester using the Company’s prescribed procedures and respond within a reasonable period.

However, the Company may decline such requests pursuant to applicable laws and regulations.

All requests for disclosure, etc., and related inquiries must be submitted via email to the contact listed in Section 8 (Contact for Personal Information Inquiries).

The Company bears no obligation to respond to requests made through any other means.

A handling fee of 1,000 yen per request will be charged for notifications of purpose of use or requests for disclosure. Please make payment using the method specified by the Company.


6. Security Measures

The Company implements necessary and appropriate security measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of Personal Information, etc., and to ensure proper management of such information.

7. Changes to This Policy

The Company may revise this Policy when deemed necessary.

In such cases, the revised Policy and effective date will be announced on the Service website or through other appropriate means.

When required by applicable laws or when the Company determines that user consent is necessary, the Company will obtain such consent through appropriate procedures.
