MyResource Terms of Service (2025 Japan Edition)


Article I - General Provisions

MyResource Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") is a legal entity established under Japanese law, with its head office located at Taiyo Seimei Shinagawa Building, 28th Floor, 2-16-2 Konan, Minato-ku, Tokyo. The Company provides digital recruitment solutions and university partnership support services, operating various applications under the names MyResource, MyUniversity, YoungBrain, and MyInternship (collectively referred to as "the Service").

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") set forth the conditions for use of the Service provided by the Company, and users (hereinafter referred to as "Users") shall use the Service upon agreeing to these Terms.


Article II - Definitions

The definitions of key terms used in these Terms are as follows:

1. "User" refers to individuals or legal entities that use the Service.

2. "Platform" refers collectively to MyResource, MyUniversity, YoungBrain, and MyInternship provided by the Company.

3. "Corporate Account" refers to an account registered by a corporation for the purpose of posting job openings or internship information.

4. "University Account" refers to an institutional account registered by a university for purposes such as student management or seminar organization.

5. "Student Account" refers to an individual account of a student authenticated by a university.

6. "Marketplace" refers to the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, the platform through which payment and billing processing for the Service are conducted.

7. "Personal Information" refers to personal information as defined in Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as "the Personal Information Protection Act").

8. "Usage Fees" refers to fees paid by corporate users when utilizing paid plans of the Service.


Article III - Purpose and Scope of the Service

The Service aims to digitally connect universities, students, and companies to efficiently facilitate recruitment activities, internship management, career support, seminar operations, and related functions. Universities and students may use the Service free of charge, while companies participate through subscription contracts via Microsoft Azure Marketplace or through separately concluded agreements.


Article IV - Accounts and User Responsibilities

Use of the Service requires account registration. Corporate and university accounts require approval by authorized representatives of the organization. Users warrant that their registration information is accurate and bear responsibility for maintaining current and accurate information at all times.

Users are responsible for managing their login credentials and are prohibited from disclosing or transferring them to third parties. In the event of suspected unauthorized access, Users shall immediately notify the Company.


Article V - Subscriptions, Payment, and Microsoft Marketplace

All payments for paid use of the Service by companies shall be made through Microsoft Marketplace or services designated by the Company. Billing, refunds, and contract renewals shall be subject to the terms and conditions set forth by each payment method.

Refunds after confirmation of payment shall not be provided, except where specifically required by law.


Article VI - Service Content and Availability

The Company strives to maintain stable operation of the Service; however, the Company may temporarily suspend or interrupt Service provision due to system maintenance, troubleshooting, legal amendments, or other unavoidable circumstances. The Company shall not be liable for damages arising from Service interruptions.

The Company may modify Service content, add features, or discontinue features upon prior notice to Users.


Article VII - Protection of Personal Information (Compliance with Personal Information Protection Act)

The Company shall properly manage Users' personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act and related laws and regulations. Information collected includes name, email address, telephone number, resume information, educational background, chat records, usage history, and similar data.

The Company uses personal information for purposes including recruitment activities, internship management, seminar operations, and facilitating collaboration between universities and companies. Data is encrypted and securely stored in cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure.

When international data transfers occur, the Company shall implement them through lawful procedures in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.

Users may request disclosure, correction, suspension of use, or deletion of their personal information. Requests may be made by sending an email to privacy@myresource.jp.

Article VIII - Intellectual Property Rights

All copyrights, trademark rights, program code, designs, and other intellectual property rights related to the Service belong to the Company or third parties with legitimate rights.

Users shall not, without prior written consent from the Company, engage in reproduction, modification, distribution, decompilation, reverse engineering, or similar activities.

Microsoft and Microsoft Azure Marketplace are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation and are used under license.


Article IX - Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages (including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or reputation) arising from the use or inability to use the Service. The total liability of the Company shall be limited to the total amount of usage fees paid by the User to the Company during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the occurrence of the relevant claim.


Article X - Disclaimer

The Company provides the Service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The Company makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, completeness, usefulness, fitness for a particular purpose, continuous availability, or absence of errors. Users understand and agree that risks of interception and unauthorized access exist in communications via the Internet.


Article XI - Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over all disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service.


Article XII - Suspension of Use and Termination of Contract

The Company may suspend use of the Service or terminate the contract without prior notice if the Company determines that a User has violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate conduct, or engaged in conduct that threatens system security.

When a User wishes to delete their account, they shall notify the Company in writing or by email to support@myresource.jp, and contract termination shall be processed in accordance with procedures set forth by Microsoft Azure Marketplace or methods designated by the Company.


Article XIII - Amendment of These Terms

The Company may amend these Terms due to legal amendments, technical changes, business necessity, or other reasonable grounds. In the event of material changes, the Company shall provide notice via email or on the Company's website. If a User continues to use the Service after such changes, the User shall be deemed to have agreed to such changes.

Article XV - Miscellaneous

1. Entire Agreement - These Terms constitute the complete agreement between the Company and Users regarding use of the Service and supersede all prior oral or written agreements.

2. Severability - If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

3. No Waiver - Failure by the Company to exercise any right under these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such right.

4. Force Majeure - The Company shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance arising from acts of God, war, terrorism, communication failures, government regulations, labor disputes, or other causes beyond the Company's reasonable control.

5. No Assignment - Users may not assign, transfer, or pledge their rights and obligations under these Terms to any third party without prior written consent from the Company.

6. Language - In the event of any discrepancy between the Japanese and English versions of these Terms, the Japanese version shall prevail.
